The thing to understand about this is: if that guy had a knife in his hand, he could have still killed the cop before dying. This is why cops shoot first and empty the damn clip, if they shoot at all. It's NOT excessive force. It's vitally necessary force. Imagine if he'd been stupid enough to do what liberals always ask for: only target arms or legs, so as not to kill. I'd go even further and say this footage is a compelling argument for a shot pattern of "two shots to center of mass, two to the head, then repeat." One successful head shot would have ended it instantly.

This one is spooky. One report said no ETOH/drugs in his system. If he'd gone another 2 seconds he would've pulled that gun right out of the deputy's hand.
