I’d prefer our children be given classes on empathy. This will create a more cohesive country, based on shared values, kindness and understanding of each other’s differences. It will allow for constructive and open conversations among us all. There's no downside. Look at all the other useless things taught at school that the majority of us don't remember or will ever use again. This is something that stays with us and changes us for the better, forever.
