I heard once someone say the happiness you're seeking lies in the chores or tasks you avoid every day.

"Happiness" is a myth, if not just a rush of dopamine. Joy through discipline, sacrifice, legacy is what matters.

Feeding the flesh and not the spirit will lead to misery and poor judgment.

This would apply if life’s struggles weren’t largely the fault of other greedy corrupt ppl. Otherwise, this speech puts one into a slave mindset. “There’s pride in enduring the strife and suffering someone else places on your shoulders so they can stay wealthy”. Fraid not.

This is wrong for so many reasons. Alcoholics don't magically become happy. Drug addicts don't get giddy after using. Not with most drugs at least. They aren't happy, and even when they're using, never even come close to it. Most are abusive, and violent, then many just sit there and exist, dwelling all they've lost. This is just some guy saying stuff he thinks sounds cool.
