Unfortunately, we have Kenyan NGOs that are the enablers to this western mindset. They perfected the art of marketing ''woieee stories'' to western donors so that they can send more $ £ € to save Mama mboga! #WeThe99 understand our issues & have solutions to them. @KenyaFIA

She’s 💯% correct Kenya 🇰🇪 is driven by western interests through global financial institutions & NGO’s that obviously prioritize their issues. It’s a very stealthy form of colonialism! We get distracted by political games! Mwai Kibaki unshackled us from it & Uhuruto restored it!

True. "Scared of Knowledge." And also ... Taking ownership of that NEW knowledge/thought. One of the scariest things is the RESPONSIBILITY of bearing new knowledge and seeing it to FRUITION. But once done, its a truly TRANSFORMATIVE experience.

Great insight future leaders should embrace this mindset. Breaking away from the Neocolonial system is not a debate we should be having but a decision we have to make without hesitation.

(1) Many years ago, I noticed that the reports and recommendations of the UN were meant to deceive you. (2) I also noticed that Africans were attaching their name to these reports just to have a good job. (3) So the problem is who controls the incentives Kenyans or the West.

We entertained mediocrity in governance and civil service. We forgot to reward excellence but mediocrity. Resetting our software i.e. mentality, is only way forward. The west they embraced mediocrity and you can clearly see it in it's decline leadership and diplomacy quality

@MaryK2022 Of couse Kenyans don’t think. It has been political policy to discourage thinking since the 1980’s. The IMF said, Kenya needs basic education not higher education. Moi said, that works for me! And the strategies he used to strangle higher education have been policy since then.

I agree with you Prof, but isn't lumping all 'Kenyans' an injustice, and isn't she a Kenyan? Or it only applies to other 'Kenyans' excluding her, the lone voice in the wilderness?

@XivTroy Thank you, Prof. Njoya. It’s time Kenyans heard the truth. Indeed, it is the Age of Information. Kenyans need to know: Whose laws? Where is the moral obligation to obey such laws? Which government? Why IMF & WB? Why innocent until proven guilty? Implementing isn’t the problem.

Kenyans are brilliant. However, they lost confidence in the political class a long time ago. Unless there is a reset, the contemptuous attitude will continue to be pre-eminent in the minds of all Kenyans. We need a new beginning based on trust and human decency
