Here in Clayton, they just starting clearing a large area of trees to build a 800 unit apartment complex. I'm pissed.

I'm clayton as well, I'm definitely not liking what's happening.

Way too much going on now and they're building up 42 east of Buffalo Rd. 2 Storage facilities within a 1/4 mile of each other is too much. There is not enough room to expand the roads to accomodate all the traffic volume that will be coming when more people move in.

70 business is going to get alot worse with the new Costco development, and when 540/70 business interchange opens its going to get alot worse as well.

Yeah. Its going to get awfully crowded here the next 5-10 years. Clayton/Garner/Wendell is turing into the next Cary, Apex and Morrisville. Every day, when I go down Eagle Rock Rd, Wendell Parkway, 96 I see more and more trees cut down. Cattail, more luxury home subdivisions...

I’m pissed - they are doing this in Haywood County where a once beautiful Ag Farm is! The homes are cheap and ugly. It’s an absolute DISASTER!

You should see it up here in Highlands. They destroy everything including the wild azaleas. And then they wonder why there are bears around. Because the bears where here first!

Its pretty much statewide. And utilities and property taxes going through the roof.

Taxes here in the west part of the state have been staying affordable. Macon county council is 💯 conservative.

They are clearing lands here around me and I am in this sleepy little town that are now bustling with out of state license plates vehicles zooming in one lane road. New houses are over $400K with almost no yard.. who are these people buying them? (Never mind I know the answer).

We need a relocation tax. Make it less of a steal for blue state refugees. They are absolutely ruining this state. Less than half of the population of NC are native North Carolinians now.

Nail Salon, Food Lion and Chinese restaurant summed it up. There's 5 different Food Lions in the county with that exact same setup.

@GodWins48 We live in the middle surrounded by subdivisions gone up and going up so many I cannot count I’m thinking 23 but maybe more, what used to be tobacco fields around us we now cannot get out of our neighborhood we’ve been in for50+ yrs, it’s ridiculous and overpopulated
