That’s the saddest chicken breast I’ve ever seen

Boiled, with no seasoning 😬

@RadRadDoc Do you know how salty msg is?did you see the amount of salt, msg, soy sauce etc it does not need more seasoning

@ribzoftiktok @RadRadDoc msg is its own thing. scientifically not considered to be related to salt

@joolzg72 @ribzoftiktok Yup, not salty, just a flavor enhancer

Lmao 🤣. 100%. Uncle Roger would have a field day with this one.

British people seeing this

You usually get other things in it too. Like spring onions/green onions and peas. That one is really basic.

Yup, boiled chicken and rice with some MSG and soy sauce isn’t gonna cut it

@NeonEcho1 What is MSG?

@ribzoftiktok Monosodium Glutamate. It’s a powder that has certain savoury tang some of your taste buds react to. You can taste things like salt, sweet, sour, and bitter, due to different taste buds. Japanese scientists found another one and called it umami,(savouriness).

@ribzoftiktok Then they tried to isolate that flavour from certain foods. And came up with MSG.

Meanwhile, I made this at home.

I saw one piece of chicken fly out of the wok 💀

Par for the course 😱

This is the worst fried rice I’ve ever seen jfc. Might as well stir fry some beans and toast and call it a day.

Um im in the US where is the peas, carrots, eggs and seasoning? It look BLAND!!!

That’s why I figured it had to be the UK 🤣🤷

Is it fuck the UK The Chinese food in the UK beats the USA hands down

So overcooked not a vegetable in sight

It’s honestly remarkable how many things have gone wrong here

Where the seasoning ??? The onions , carrots , pees, more eggs uh uh 😭😭

EXACTLY! 🎯🎯🎯

How I make fried rice.

You make excellent points, all of them spot on. Apparently this was made in Scotland, which explains a few things!

No veggies, boiled chicken, salt, more salt, soy sauce, more light soy sauce, no flavor outside of salt and msg.

Exactly! That’s why I figured it had to be the UK 🤣🤷

No onions, no sprouts, and using warm rice? Fail

It’s supposed to be day old rice. And also, who the hell calls it boiled rice 😂 that’s just cooked rice

Yep, not only that, boiled chicken and no veggies, ginger, garlic, etc

@LawdogTrev It's a side dish. The veg is in other dishes. You really need to stop making yourself look stupid.

@CultureWar_ @ribzoftiktok My bad bro, didn’t know side dish constitutes unseasoned and unmarinated garbage

Eating straight salt would taste less salty

@CombatSleeping Plus some msg and soy sauce Then some more. And a bit more salt

@ribzoftiktok After about the third time adding a sodium I started saying no more, and got progressively more horrified 5 times

I always wondered how to make fried rice like restaurants at home. Thanks!

@BlessethWeb314 Welcome! Usually it has more ingredients but if you like it like this, make it like this!

Can the X algorithm please at least give me real recipes im tired of this shit 😭

I hear ya, I do post a lot of real recipes, but this isn’t just a “recipe” account

I was straight up just pissed until he added the dark soy sauce

Where’s the cubed carrots & peas?

I mean, they did have boiled chicken in it

You can tell it's British because it's boiled. When we went to an "American" restaurant in Nottingham, they boiled the hamburgers too. 😉

SERIOUSLY? I believe that’s an actual crime.

Yes. I had never seen or tasted anything like it, so I asked, and I was told that is how they do it. Apparently it's popular in Wisconsin too. Enjoy the video. 🤣

Bad wok skill... Is that chicken or rice, idk. But still, too much wasted... Small but still a spoon worth for mouth.

Garlic, ginger, spring onions.....always ! Cold cooked rice, from the day before is best. Egg and soy sauce, naturally. Then add whatever veggie you want.....peas, red pepper, mushrooms.......

Horrible mistake. To make fried rice "chow faan" you need steamed rice cold. It has to be prepared at least 2-3 hours before.

Day or even 2 day old rice is even better

Yeah, glad my country doesn't use toxic foil containers... Can tell that's the UK, they think brown bread is healthy.. 😂

What do they send takeaway in Down Under?

Cardboard made from bamboo mostly, some still use plastic containers, bpa free.

@ribzoftiktok Cardboard and fibre-based food containers are generally coated with PFAS which can migrate into food.

@ribzoftiktok Yes, but not always. It depends on the manufacturers. Cheap crap will be. Bamboo products don't usually.

@ribzoftiktok Bamboo containers often use PFAS. You only know if it’s safe if it’s clearly labelled “PFAS-free”. The UK Food Standards Agency has also raised concerns about bamboo mixed with plastic in food-contact products due to potential chemical migration.

@ribzoftiktok A lot of people have stopped using PFAS.. Just like people stopped using teflon .. I know the UK is super behind on almost everything, but in modern countries they have already stopped using this. It's far less of a problem than aluminium.

This is definitely the US…

If I ever go to the UK I'm boxing meal prep. They have no idea how to make food.

m8 they put salt and soy sauce in it. thats proper spicy innit. what else do you want bruv

If you aren’t British that was quite the rendition, well played!

needs peas

And beans

This shit got me so angry

You’re not the only one!

I had Chinese takeaway in Ireland and it was probably the worst Chinese I’ve ever had. Panda Express was gourmet compared to it

So much MSG !

This is the worst fried rice I’ve ever seen

let me tell you a little secret. Chinese NEVER put chicken into fried rice, ever
