There are animals that look at you, and there are animals who look past your physical self and manage to probe the deep recesses of your frail human consciousness. This Dalmatian pelican is definitely the latter. There is something primal in the bird and myself that creates a cautious uncertainty coupled with a childlike curiosity. A shared state of being. This bird seems to ask, “Who are you?” But it isn’t interested in my human name. It seems to be a much deeper, “Who are you?” A question I often ask myself, but when this massive bird asks it feels otherworldly and I don’t know how to answer and then I realize there is no answer and the bird understands this too.

At Muthanga Wildlife Sanctuary I met Dr.Arun Zacharia, an accomplished veterinary surgeon who is also a font of knowledge regarding wild animals, the forest and related issues. His experience and that of the forest officials is key to understanding and managing the animal-man conflict in the area. Part of this effort is the training and use of Kumki elephants that drive away rogue wild elephants when they stray into human habitations. Man- animal conflict in Wayanad is a complex problem for which all of us have to collaborate and find workable solutions.

This video highlights how powerful women are. God wouldn’t have said it’s not good for a man to be alone. When he had all the animals around him and remember it’s the very same man who had named all the animals but no suitable helper was found for him. God had to find a woman for the man. But again a woman is like an escalator in a life of a man.( she can either take you up ⬆️ or down ⬇️ ) I dedicate this post to all the women in the month of women. May you be the best version of yourself!

And the reason is because, in Genesis where we have to start, we are given our identity. Our identity is in the image of God, bearing it as a man or as a woman. There are two kinds of people in the world—a man or a woman. A man who says he's a gay man is a man with a sin pattern that Jesus came to help set him free from if he will mortify it, repent, believe, go to war. It's very hard to do that. I'm not suggesting it's easy, but that is our job, and you know what? It's not just somebody whose indwelling sin is homosexuality who happens to have that call. They are loving, special, and intelligent creatures that have been known to possess intellect that surpasses that of dogs and human toddlers. Supporters of Animal Rising and Manchester Pig Save attended the final vigil at the closing of Pilgrim’s Pride slaughterhouse in Manchester. After seven years of regular vigils, Manchesterpigsave held their final vigil to remember the 10 million+ pigs that were slaughtered in gas chambers for human consumption.
