This is exactly how I be feeling.

Completely drained after 45 mins of the best time of my life.

I tell my husband that I’ve reached my daily word limit. My ears cannot take in any more words and I have no more words to offer the world. The reserve will slowly replenish over the next 24-48 hours.

Lmaoooo the “It’s not up to me” line

To start your speech with „I have to leave immediately“ is elite.

like please let me go home before i kille the vibe and start talkin about the Epstein files

"It's not up to me" oh my word how I've wished to say that!!!! 🤣🤣🤣

As a veteran introvert, I love this. Only issue is she did too much explaining. I’m standing up throwing the deuces and bouncing

Me after 15 strong mins of chilling with my ppls knowing I'm about to pull my disappearing act

Them: "What are you about to do?" Me:

Us Irish do it without a word

When she said “this has been one of my favorite nights in years” and still made it clear she’s outta there >>>

That’s how i wanna be when I’m in a conversation sometimes especially with coworkers like bro shut the fuck up I wanna walk away so bad This is why I can never work a job where you gotta be in team meetings constantly and everything’s cooperative. I only got so much bandwidth for people I don’t even like going to the fucking store sometimes Mfs are annoying

The “I’m gonna figure it out” three hour walk home alone is the most healing thing

She’s so real for this 😭

Me every time I go out: Y’all know I’m not staying long

This happens to me when im stuck around people talking about shit I have no interest in. I have to manufacture talking points until I run out of material and my brain short circuits from over heating forcing the need to excuse myself and not talk for next few hours😂

Yes as an introvert this speaks to my tired tired soul 😂 there’s really no in between, I’m happy to engage until I’m not then I immediately have to go 😅

I just get up and leave.

Thats why I do an Irish Exit. Or just start saying “well” a few times then “well, think I’m gonna head out.” Get the awkward “byes” in on the way out.

Me all day except I don’t announce I’m leaving - someone eventually says “where’s Dee?”, and I’ve already been gone for a minute. Just poof!

Instead you'll just be staring off into the abyss like

I’m that friend who always says I have somewhere to be or something to do afterward. 😭 I never give any details and just let people speculate. So technically, I’m not being dishonest, I do have somewhere to be… my bed. 😌 It’s the perfect trick, I can leave at any time and if I’m somehow running on a backup generator, I’ll just say my plans were canceled. Lol

This is 100% me.🤣. And I don’t understand it because my parents and siblings are the biggest social butterflies you’ll ever meet.

@kiingtelly Having kids was super helpful for me with this Kev I’d just grab the baby and walk out without saying anything lmao

Her Joel Osteen tone and cadence sold it HA!

“It’s not up to me” was so accurate. There’s nothing you can do once your social battery runs out 😂😂

This is EXACTLY it for me. I just want to walk away immediately. No hard feelings. That's just it for me. 😂💯

“This has been one of my favorite nights in years…and now, I’m gonna go” Fucking flawless

This is my mom! She’s been known to leave shoes, clothes(we have a pool, she will just leave in swimsuit and coverup), bags and basically anything else she came with. When she’s ready to go, she goes immediately and picks up the pieces later:)

I need to print this speech on business cards to hand out at functions when I'm ready to go.

She’s imitating Chris Elliot’s impersonation of Marlon Brando.

This is incredibly accurate and I’m so glad someone has encapsulated it so well 😂

“It’s not up to me”. I felt that

Oh so this is how its done, I usually just disappear into the night 😂

this is how I wish I could explain to my friends what it feels like
