A good friend married a nice 2nd gen. Italian boy with one set of parents from the north and the other set from the south and the mothers cooked Enormous dinners trying to out-compete each other's cuisine style! :D

my Italian/irish family started xmas at 8am with a breakfast buffet, bloody mary's and mimosas and kept eating and drinking until 11pm. I swear every hour we got louder. 🤣 hugs all day long. probably 300 people came through my mom's door through the whole day. ❤️

Yeah, I had that last night, this morning and this evening. It was only me and my mom. We’re not yelling, we’re giving orders in our normal volume, which is always maximum. Non Italian friends always asked why we yell at each other all the time, had to explain we weren’t. 🤣

🤣🤣My son started cooking today at 5:45 AM, roasting a suckling pig, after that he roasted some young lamb,and around 11:45 AM he started roasting chicken with potatoes. In the meantime, he attended holy mass at the nearby monastery.
