There were allegations that they intentionally delayed clearing the containers in order to sell them to third parties, who would then sell them back to ECG. He firmly stated that as MD, he never approved such actions. In fact, he wrote to several state agencies to halt the intended auction of ECG containers. He emphasized that, during his tenure, he never repurchased any of the auctioned ECG containers. 4. Regarding the merger of the procurement department with the estate department, he clarified that he, as MD, was only carrying out a board directive. The reasons for that decision can also be found in the board meeting minutes. 5. He made it clear that the committee tasked with investigating the container issues did not contact him for any information, nor did they speak to relevant members of the board for assistance in their investigation.
