There are term limits. They are called elections. One is coming up in November. Mitch will be gone. John Cornyn in Texas was defeated in the primary. It short term thinkers that blame the system or the politician when the constituency that keeps them coming back. You are trying to penalize the votes for being fools re-electing the same guy every election. The Democrat party is guilty of this most of all. Just start with Senator Schumer and the old people in the both houses. That can only happen in a one party state, includes blue and red states.

Term limits are not the answer. You can’t disqualify a 40 year old that is doing a phenomenal job. I think the answer is making it easier to remove people from office, have that persons caucus have a vote to remove. This would be in situations where the person clearly needs to be out of the public eye and they refuse to.
