Beautiful work. Guessing not done by an Indian.

Yes you will encounter this in instances where somebody had been fucked before and oversaw the building of EVERYTHING IN THE DRAWINGS with the attention to detail and inhuman contempt of a marine corps drill instructor. The contractors probably lost a million dollars on this job.

This isn't a crawlspace, this is a "finished basement", if the tax assessor ever finds out about it

Man... when I was an apprentice plumber in Houston back in the 80s no crawlspace looked like that! More like half gator swamp, half brown recluse motel 😂

I'm left with the impression this person once had a mold problem.

Went under a house like this once while installing cable. It was just tall enough for my short butt to walk in and they also had a chair, radio, and a table where I could tell that probably the dad just went there to hang out. It was so clean and cool under there I didn't want to leave. 😅

Pro tip for you crawlspace-havers, these are a game changer for moving things, and they make you feel like a kid again:

I have a floating floor in my basement. That means I have a dirt floor and wood flooring set 5 feet over it because of expansive soil. I also have a crawl space that I have hanging shelves off the floor truss for storage. I did the same thing to both areas to keep moisture from growing mold. This is the storage area. Messy right now. I have carpet remnants down to give some cushion to my knees when crawling around in it. The area under the wood floor looks like the video.

It looks expensive. Where the hell is all the musty dirt and spiders I have to crawl through to get to the water shut off?

Holy shit I spent 10 years as a tunnel rat running cable and I never ran into anything remotely like this. It has to be <1year old. Spiders get everywhere.

Did you lock up my crawl space after filming this? A must have if you are not on a slab.

@navychick1993 I’ve been under one like this. They even provided us with auto crawlers.

In places that have hot humid summers, residential air conditioning will make the floor (and rest of the house) cold and there will be condensation on the floor joists and eventually mold. The dehum is a very good idea. Floor insulation would be better.

We completely encapsulated our crawl space with a dehumidifier and it has made a massive difference, honestly. I just wish I had thst lighting.

I live in Poland where style of housing construction is so different. For me it's just a wooden house. With all admire for crafsmanship I feel better in house build by my grandfather, made out of bricks, with full underground basement that will easily last few more centuries.

I still have nightmares of when I was a little kid going into the crawlspace under our 100 year old house with my dad, and nothing but a dim bulb flashlight. Tangled in spider webs in dirt, horrible moldy smells, and the sound of things crawling around out of flashlight view.

That's nice. Mine absolutely didn't turn out like that. Had 4 dudes in crocks show up and did horrible work.

Craftsmen who are talented at their trade and care this much about the finished product seem to be a dying breed unfortunately. I think they've all be aged out or run out by cheaper illegal workers.
