This is EXTREMELY disappointing. I've been to Xinjiang. The Uyghur oppression narrative is alien to the region and the country as anyone there, and yes I mean anyone, will tell you. I sat down with this Uyghur professor who outlined who it really hurts: Uyghur workers:

The US has been trying to destabilize xinjiang and Tibet for many years. It’s a part of the containment strategy to prevent the rise of China. People are fed up with it.

Some more insight into the matter from Col. Wilkerson - there was a deliberate plan to use the Uyghurs to destabilize Syria, Afghanistan and China. It's unfortunate indeed, that people are still falling for this kind of cheap imperialist propaganda.

@fOrGiVeNcHy I think what is fascinating about Uyghur "oppression" and "genocide" claims, is that adventurous travel Vloggers from the West have been visiting China, specifically Xinjiang. But none of them of them have reported seeing anything even remotely close to what Western govts claim.

With due respect. I’ve seen a video of someone who went to that region. They don’t allow them to practice thier religion freely. They can’t fast & the lock the mosques. They were terrified to speak about it if someone approach them & asked if they were muslims.

Oh? Anyone? How about lawyers who have worked in Xinjiang, or primary source documentation from Chinese courts?
