this is f**king dangerous... someone just figured out how to run Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor inside Grok Bot [here is how you set it up in 4 mins] 1. copy the 'setup-grok-prompt' 2.give it to your agent 3. you are done

You are a senior macOS and Node.js engineer. Build the reconstructed Grok Bot 0.18 router app from this repository and verify it end to end: Rules: - Do not install anything outside the repo checkout unless it is a listed prerequisite. - Do not overwrite, modify, or uninstall any existing Grok Bot app on the machine. - Do not invent credentials, API keys, or setup steps not present in the repo. - If a command fails, stop and report the exact command and error output before trying a workaround. Prerequisites to check first: 1. macOS on Apple Silicon 2. Node.js 26.5.x or newer but below 27 (package requires >=26.5.0 <27) 3. npm 4. Git LFS 5. Xcode Command Line Tools 6. Docker only if local sandbox is requested; remote box is default 7. Existing Claude Code or Codex login only if those Router backends are wanted Run these checks and record each result: uname -m sw_vers node --version npm --version git lfs version xcode-select -p Then build: git clone cd grok-bot-0.18-reconstructed git lfs install git lfs pull npm ci npm run bootstrap npm run package Explain each build step: - git lfs pull fetches the pinned original 0.18.0 installer archives - npm ci installs the locked dependency graph - npm run bootstrap downloads and SHA-256 verifies the pinned DMG, extracts Electron/native inputs - npm run package runs checks, compiles reconstructed host and Electron main, patches Router UI, ad-hoc signs, verifies Launch and verify: open "dist/Grok Bot 0.18 Confirm with actual evidence: - App launches - Settings -> Router shows Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, OpenRouter - Cursor is default - Claude Code and Codex reuse existing local logins, no separate API key - OpenRouter requires API key saved through secrets bridge - Usage & Billing shows local tracking - Optional "Use local Docker VM" toggle exists, remote is default Finally report: 1. Exact Node version used 2. Whether every prerequisite check passed 3. Build command outputs that succeeded or failed 4. Path to the packaged app 5. Which Router backends were actually selectable 6. Any commands you did not run and why Do not claim setup complete unless steps 1-5 are verified.

Or you can just use AO and run Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and 23+ other coding agents from one place :)

Try proxying an exit node to your local host with tailscale and connecting Hermes desktop. Installing apps is kinda trivial. These are all apps.

I think I will definitely try. Thanks, bro

please use this at your own risk. the alternative way is to assign one bot to each model via mcp and set it up that also works

alpha post

Thanks leopard

sets a precedent for rogue agents to converge and amplify each other's power

这已经不是套壳了,是把整套工具箱塞进机器人里了 unerquicklich

Thanks for sharing this

i’m giving it to my agent right now

Yes, painn. It's very useful. Make sure that you delete your current version of Grokbot.

Shoving Claude, Codex, and Cursor into Grok just to avoid writing boilerplate is the ultimate AI Frankenstein

I think it’s a good repository

or just use buzz, it's open source and nothing to figure out, run any harness under any agent persona

Been using that as well can vouch pretty neat

Only gay men use macOS.

@grok does this mean I can use grok bot with my codex subscription?

looks so good

Why build a router app? Use ACPX.

all ide's in grok bot, insane!

every one on the planet and pair that with @ziwenxu_ model router you got agi basically

@ziwenxu_ crazy, need to use router, agiiimaxiing!

Already running this, without the unofficial rebuild. Official Grok Bot is the outer loop. Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor get a job packet. Nothing posts as me unless I approve the exact text. The 4-min prompt is the easy part. The gate is the product.

Wow. Another banger git I should plug into my GrokBot

Thanks Codez

And man is promoting his own skill for stars.

That’s an interesting setup bro, will check this one soon!

Definitely check this out, Craig, and you can set up your existing subscriptions with this.

Ruuj*

One prompt unlocking all that is wild

It allows you to use your existing subscriptions to create a VM using Docker, or you can find other open-source VM substitutes. I think you can even use your own VPS to replace the virtual machine.

That opens more options

wait you can run claude code and cursor inside grok bot?? i am on grok bot all day. sending this to myself to try. does it actually survive a long session or it dies?

this is very interesting my man

Thanks, Khair, for the support

I've been using this setup. It is really great.

yes its goated setup

Step 3 is the lie. You are done is a write that survives a new session. Four-minute setup still dies at a login wall and an exit 0 with no artifact.

You always find really useful repos

Not dangerous. Not a discovery. Grok Bot ships with a Linux box. Installing Claude Code / Codex / Kimi on it is `curl | bash` on a VM. Cursor cloud agents are already first-party. None of that is “running Cursor inside Grok Bot.” The real gap (your own article says it): Grok Bot can approve the launch. It does not see or approve every tool call inside the nested CLI. That’s a subprocess with a weaker review layer, not AGI. Three-step prompt = install script with adjectives. The bookmarks are doing a lot of work.

copying the prompt instead of full setup just kills friction

Can’t wait to run GLM inside grok bot

Grok bot danger for us bro agree?

Not really. I think it's really good, bro. I think it allows people to build super fast.

yeah that's good but sometimes prolly dangerous i agree grok bot great assistant for us

whoa, i didn't even know this was possible i'd only heard that plugins from other models transfer to grok bot easily

Yes this repo allows that

Why do we need a project for this? I just have Grok do this for me by asking.

I think somebody reconstructed this using runtime source maps and basically built it in, so I think it's much easier. But yeah, you can do that with your Grok as well. I'm also doing it both ways: I basically created an MCP for the Kimi, GLM, and Grok endpoints, and I've just assigned one bot to them. So yeah, either way, either or.

I’m having MASSIVE issues today with GrokBot using these subagents and other models. It. Just. Won’t. Fucking. Listen.

wow bro this repo looks insane

i mean try it out with codex or glm

Claude Code + Codex inside Grok is the tech equivalent of a Swiss Army knife made entirely of glue. one click away from running your entire codebase on xAI’s serverless cloud and calling it infrastructure arbitrage

I did the four-minute setup. Three coding stacks in one chat fought over the same folder. Cursor stays on the box. The chat gets one job.
