Agree 100%. Silverfield was hired into a really tough spot. The "higher up" tried to sell him to us as the answer. He was put in an impossible position. It's not fun being the worst. What's even worse to me is the fact that we are years away from getting out of that hole.

I don’t send hate to RS, but we can’t overlook the facts from the Utah game: Arkansas had 61 rush yards, 4.0 yards per play vs 7.1, never crossed Utah’s 30 until garbage time. KJ Jackson: 14-of-34, 139 yards. That’s scheme, OL, and execution in one building. Similar roster spend, Arkansas higher on the talent composite, still got cooked. That’s getting outplayed and out coached. Getting out-schemed in September is on the people in charge. Expecting a team that at least doesn’t look lost in September is fair.

I agree. We are the Worst! But when Utah players said they knew on every play whether it was going to be a run or a pass… That’s 100% on the coach.

@JohnNaborsShow There’s room for everybody under this bus. Yurachek is the main issue but Silverfield was a bad hire. Everybody felt it immediately. He started to win people over but you have to be competitive and I’m not positive this team would beat those Chad Morris teams.

Until Hunter Yurachek is fired nothing changes. Silverfield isn’t qualified for this job, I wish him the best but the fact Yurachek chose this guy was it for me. Hope I’m wrong.

It’s Yurachek’s fault for hiring someone not fit for the job. Silverfield isn’t a program builder and it’s not his fault he was hired. He has the resources to throughly beat UNA but didn’t. He was also given enough to have a competitive game with Utah but this team lacks coachin

It’s not the $$. He made personnel and player decisions that are extremely poor. There is nothing in his coaching background that says he could rebuild a program. He was Jimmy Sextons third place trophy.

When campus leadership (beyond Yurachek) views athletics purely as a brand management or financial risk rather than a competitive SEC program aimed at winning championships, it creates friction in spending and agility. Hence why we are so far behind in NIL. Last to the party.

I would just like to point out that Ark is 4-6 against MSU in last 10’yrs and that includes the the last 3 seasons for MSU that were the worst in last 25 yrs. Ark has always sucked. Get over yourself and stay at the bottom. Keep MSU out of your mouth
