Yup. Saw it with my own eyes during my trips to China. Folks leaving their laptops and tablets on coffee shop tables while they went for a WC break. They were all left alone on the tables.

Sure, American have freedom to be stolen and robbed anytime.

Freedom is not the right to own a gun. Freedom is to have no need for a gun.

Sometimes I wake up kinda drowsy look outside OMG my car has been stolen. I then remember wait. I don't have a car here :D

In fact, there are several countries where you could achieve this—I’ve lived in one myself. While I’m not currently in a place with that same level of safety, the worst that tends to happen here is very petty crime, like phone theft. Physical aggression isn’t even on the table.

They prefer stealing kids rather than cheap cellphone.

Being robbed or mugged by endemic government subsidized thugs is not only the price but the essence of freedom and individuality. China can keep its safety, harmony, community, and prosperity. The US is all about dog-eat-dog rugged individuality.

The suitcases lined up literally has a guard in blue shirt watching the bags.
