I know I’ve already commented, but people blaming countries’ problems on whether or not they’re Christian is such a brain-dead argument. Do people realize how many countries in Europe and Asia are NOT majority-Christian, but no one ever gets online and tries to blame natural disasters on whether or not their people go to church? And then people who love to say “Haiti’s problems are because of Voodoo” forget that the vast majority of those negroes are literally Christian. And that goes for so many other majority-Black nations whose problems they try to blame on their beliefs. These countries aren’t poor because people supposedly aren’t Christians. France literally forced Haiti to pay them for their freedom after the revolution and threatened to invade them again if they didn’t pay it. Haiti was forced to pay 150 million francs, later reduced to 90 million. Economists have estimated that the debt and its long term consequences cost Haiti tens of billions of dollars in lost wealth and economic growth. Haitians deadass didn’t finish paying off the debt from that shit until the 1940s. And even outside of the French, so many other foreign powers fucked them over. But somehow, none of these dumbasses think that has anything to do with what Haitians go through today. And besides, Vodou and African religions aren’t even evil, but that’s a discussion for another day. That creator only makes content by starting dumbass diaspora wars or trying to shove Christianity down people’s throats, as if our ancestors’ slave masters didn’t beat that shit into them.
