I work in construction. Many GC’s are laying off employees because there aren’t enough big projects in the future. Sure, there are some, but not enough to warrant a bloated work force. 2027 is gonna be a slow year.

My boss sold the company to this bigger company, during the pandemic and they don't seem value american workers. Ever since we merged with this company, my team is getting smaller and smaller. Its a lot of outsourcing going on to different countries. For example: our IT team was in my city, now It's in Romania, and it's they're a downgrade. Its sad seeing all the people I have worked with leave or get fired for there job being replaced or non existent.
