When I was in the army my roommate and I would argue about who had to get up to turn off the lite. Then we’d call the kid on the duty desk and ask to speak to somebody who lived further down the hall. Then hang up. One of them would walk by our door and we’d say hi, hows it been? Hey can you turn that light off and shut the door on your way by? Worked until somebody figured out we were doing it. 😂
