The best thing to do here is to take drugs away from the streets permanently & not take drug addicts out of the streets temporarily, only to return them back to the drug infested streets yet again. This cycle is not going to change a thing .

Politicians always like grand standing. The initial step is to eliminate the source (drug dealers) that is the job of the state. You take them in for 6 months & when they come back, nyaope is still available on the street. The police know the drug dealers. They know what to do
