Boys used to learn from their dads/grandads by listening to them talk to other old men. By the time I was 10, I could name every major engine component and knew what it was for. I also understood small gas engines, how to gap a spark plug, chainsaws, and different types of boats.

My son purchased this one for $400 But has $1900 in parts. Bought it in a 4x4 crate then assembled/rebuilt with my help. He was 10 at the time.
