Fresh Testimony Exposes Israel’s Oct 7 Atrocities on its Own People in Kibbutz Be’eri The IDF - using an arsenal of gunfire, tank shelling and guided LAU missiles - almost certainly masaacred all but one of the 14 Israeli hostages held in a house in kibbutz Be’eri, along with their Hamas captors, sole survivor Hadas Dagan revealed to Channel 12.

1) There haven't been elections in years because after they won their first one in 2006, Israel, the US and Fatah collaborated to attempt a coup on them. This strained relations between factions for years afterwards, then Israel refused to recognize their Unity Government in 2014, then pressured Abbas to cancel planned elections in 2021 because they were terrified that Hamas was winning in the polling. 2) "Terrorist designations" are meaningless. The ANC was a "designated terrorist organization" during apartheid. Nelson Mandela was a "designated terrorist until 2008. Nobody gives a shit. The label is applied based on who western interests align most with at the time, not moral weight of actions themselves. 3) The "budget" you're referring to is customs and taxes and pensions and stipends paid out to Gaza by the PA, including salaries and pensions of tens of thousands of civil servants who have been unable to "civilly serve" since Abbas attempted the coup in collaboration with the US, Israel, and Dahlan. 4) Hamas is not responsible for "water and electricity in Gaza." As an occupied territory, as determined by the UN, the US State Department, the UK's FCO, and every other body that matters on the topic. This means that things like "water and electricity" are the responsibility of the occupying state, per Section III of the Fourth Geneva Convention, which covers the obligation of occupying states until they end their occupations. 5) The "worst terrorist attack in Israel's history" was predominantly on military bases and military targets, with civilians being captured in exchange for Palestinian prisoners. On the topic of civilian deaths, the military correspondent for Israeli news network Ynet states: "Casualties fell as a result of friendly fire on October 7, but the IDF believes that beyond the operational investigations of the events, it would not be morally sound to investigate these incidents due to the immense and complex quantity of them that took place in the kibbutzim and southern Israeli communities due to the challenging situations the soldiers were in at the time." 6) Hamas willingly stopped suicide bombings in 2005, two years before the strict blockade, leading up to their participation in the 2006 elections. "At the same time, Hamas also senses weariness in the Palestinian populations after four years of Intifada, and decides to suspend suicide attacks against civilians inside Israel – a point on which the people’s passive consent is eroding. Bassam Na’im, one of the leaders in Hamas’ middle-age generation retrospectively analyses the choice of fully taking part in the political-representative sphere, explaining that “the occupation and the resistance are fragmenting Palestinian society. It is for this reason that we chose to try to take part in the institutions”." Hamas: From Resistance to Government, Paola Caridi, 2009 Other attacks do still occur, but these are in resistance to the decades-long ongoing occupation of Palestinian territory and abuses of Palestinian peoples, and a right granted to occupied populations under multiple UN Resolutions. 7) "Construction materials" are incredibly limited due to "dual-use" restrictions and many arbitrary restrictions on types of materials imported. This is a common practice, and is one of the main impediments in the rebuilding process for civilians post-2014. There was briefly a set of protocols agreed to called the GRM, or Gaza Reconstruction Mechanism, that facilitated building materials after the conflict, but Israel willingly began more heavy restrictions in early 2016. "Weapons" are often smuggled in, and do not require "construction materials." Even rocket fuel is a mixture of sugar and fertilizer, not gasoline. If there's one thing Hamas does do well, because they had vast experience with it before becoming a "political" party at all -- let alone one responsible for creation of institutions -- it's their social programs. 8) Hamas leaders don't "embed themselves in civilian areas" -- your own account literally just bitched TODAY about how "Hamas leaders live in Qatar and other places away from Gaza because they don't care about suffering of their people blah blah," pick an argument on this, dipshit. They are "embedded in civilian populations" because Hamas is an organization that is formed from the same civilian population that is under Israeli occupation. It's like saying I'm "embedded" in my neighborhood -- no, dipshit -- I just live here. The repeated claims of "embedding for the purpose of 'using human shields'" has been repeatedly investigated and found to lack any credibility by third-party international law institutions. However, multiple organizations do find this as a repeated and common practice of the IDF. 9) Your video says "8" twice instead of 9, here. Your propaganda video producer is a fucking idiot. Also, the claims of "throwing gays from rooftops" is completely false -- it conflates two separate stories: the back and forth "roof executions" between members of Hamas and Fatah during Fatah's attempted Israel-and-US-backed coup attempt in 2006-2007, and completely unrelated stories of ISIS throwing gays from rooftops in 2015. Even the firing squad video clip from 2001 played in this section isn't Hamas, it's actually the PA execution of Majdi Muhammad Ahmad for collaboration with Israel that led to the deaths of two members of Fatah. Repeating this easily falsifiable bullshit is lazy fact-checking at best, disingenuous propaganda at worst. 10) Yes, the leadership of Hamas have usually murdered people as they rose in prominence in the movement, much the same way military members in western governments often serve in combat and then become political figures. This is not unique, you only present it as odd with Hamas -- despite even Ariel Sharon serving in Unit 101, killing people in foreign wars -- because you hope people won't notice the double-standard. 11) Hamas was originally a charity organization when it was still part of the Muslim Brotherhood proper. Their move towards "extremism" and branch off into their own entity -- read: "armed resistance against the occupation" -- was a direct result of the same consistent abuses under occupation in the same time period that led to the First Intifada.

If Hamas is so bad, why did Israeli officials keep promoting them and asking other countries to fund them?

We are watching Hamas become an extinct terrorist organization thanks to the IDF.
