This is hands down the CRAZIEST plot twist ever!😳😳 🎬 CHIME (2024)🔥🔥

"this is hands down the craziest plot twist." Waits for a plot twist only to discover there isn't one. Thanks for wasting my time

Movie Recap: Chime (2024), a 45-minute psychological horror short by Kiyoshi Kurosawa, follows Takuji Matsuoka (Mutsuo Yoshioka), a detached cooking instructor at a culinary school leading a mundane, sterile life with his class, a withdrawn student named Tashiro becomes fixated on a mysterious "chime"—a sound he describes as scream-like and personal—claiming it signals something dire, even alleging part of his brain is mechanical. Dismissing him, Matsuoka witnesses Tashiro's sudden, shocking act of self-violence with a kitchen knife, an event that transfers the eerie affliction.Soon, Matsuoka begins hearing the chime himself: an ambient, unsettling tone that triggers dread, dissociation, and suppressed violent impulses. What starts as isolated madness spreads subtly through everyday routines—cooking, recycling, family interactions—revealing a fragile equilibrium of mental stability crumbling under an inexplicable, possibly viral force. Kurosawa builds dread through sterile visuals, hypnotic pacing, and the chilling idea that latent evil lurks within ordinary people, waiting for a traditional antagonist exists; the horror lies in ambient societal and personal decay, echoing themes from Cure and Pulse in a compact, unnerving package

The mysterious chime can turn an ordinary person into someone capable of sudden, cold blooded violence.
