When we came to the US in 1992, I was 16 and my father got a job delivering food. He used to say (with awe in his eyes) USA is the only country in the world where a black family could order Chinese food cooked by a Mexican and delivered by a Ukrainian. I hate what Trump has done.

We had a friend illegal but who did work on and off for us. Great guy he took him and his family back to Mexico. I don’t blame him, how can you live in fear. His three kids were legal. They left too heartbreaking 💔

My experience with these folks - immigrants whose status I don’t know or care to know - is that the work circles around the usual folks in similar positions. They show up every day, work hard, cherish their families. THEY NEED A PATHWAY TO CITIZENSHIP. Right now there isn’t one.
