🥹 This is honestly staggering: I uploaded the source code for the text adventure game, Zork, and asked Gemini 1.5 to play it with me. The model walked me through the game play -- but also made changes and modifications based on the questions I asked. When I asked...

very cool. I tried something slightly different: I made GPT4 play Zork. It started quite well but seemed to get stuck in a loop after going in the house and looking around for a bit. Will try it again with Gemini.

I used Deck of DM Things' D&D prompt with Gemini Advanced, and I'm pretty amazed at how creative it is.

Did you just upload the source code folder of Zoe’s, or did you do any other pre-processing?

🎥🚨 Full transcription of Jorge Jesus' statements when asked about Cristiano Ronaldo in today's press conference ahead of their match against Denmark tomorrow... 🇵🇹🗣 Jorge Jesus: “Before answering the question, I want to make an interruption. For me, the most important thing, the most important thing, is the objective of what we have come here to do against Denmark. It is about respecting the opponent. We are going to play against a great opponent, with the ambition of continuing to win the Nations League. I don’t have one player, I have 23 players, and you can ask whatever questions you want about any player. But I’ll answer your question. As for Ronaldo, one question is not enough, three is too many. I will only answer two questions about Ronaldo, and then I won’t answer any more, because Ronaldo is not the main reason I am here. The main reason I am here is Denmark, and the fact that I am the national team coach. Now, to answer your question specifically. I have it memorised, but can you repeat it?” Journalist: “Whether coach Jorge Jesus agreed with Ronaldo on his playing time, and whether he refused to train yesterday with the national team.” 🇵🇹🗣 Jorge Jesus: “Well, it is true that I agreed something with him. But I didn’t only agree it with him. We also created a plan, as I did with Bruno Fernandes. I told Cris that he would not play in the game against Norway or the game against Denmark. He would not play because I believed that was the right thing to do. I worked with Cris for a year. I didn’t arrive at the national team three months ago and meet Cris. I worked with Cris for a year. I know his physical condition completely. I know because I already did this with him in Saudi Arabia. When there were games every three days, Cris rarely played. Furthermore, Cris never trains on the first day or the second day after a game. Never. He spent a year with me and never did. So, I agreed this with him. Before the game, I told him, and when we had our first press conference in Portugal, he also spoke about this. He said that whatever the coach wanted, whether he was asked to play or sit on the bench, he would sit on the bench. So, he never refused anything, and that is exactly what happened. But I am a coach who does not go to the bench thinking, ‘In 60 minutes I’m going to have Carlos Daniel,’ or, ‘In 70 minutes I’m going to have...’ That is not how I work on the bench. The game tells me what I am going to do. I thought that perhaps I had agreed with him that he would not play the first two games. But perhaps I would need him in the final minutes. However, the game dictated other things. It started telling me other things, and I did not put him on the pitch. That is the real point. And since I am talking about Cris, let me tell you something. I worked with Cris for a year. It seems as though there is some kind of issue between me and him. There is no issue at all. I have had issues with many players, but don’t turn this into an issue that does not exist. This was a coaching decision. I had a plan. If you want, I’ll also tell you about Bruno. Bruno, in the game against Norway, I told him... Bruno came after the game against... It was exactly the same. What does this tell you? It tells you something about the question I was asked earlier about a player having status, doesn’t it? Status is one thing. The rules are the same for everyone. Now, status allows the coach, or at least it does in my case, because of the players’ careers and what they have achieved, to be a little more careful about certain decisions before the game takes place. After the game takes place, it is the same. The coach has to make the decision. That is how I think, and I always make decisions based on one objective, which is what is best for the team, while always respecting the players..."

Luol Deng says the Lakers gave him a 4-year $72,000,000 contract, then refused to let him play after one game in his second season to prioritize younger players “I wanted to stay in Miami, but Pat Riley kept it real. Pat just said, ‘I can’t pay you that much money. You gotta take that money.’ I looked at it like, ‘You know what, I might never ever get this opportunity again.’ But my conversation about going to L.A. was to go there to hoop. I had a mindset of now I’m getting paid. I wanted to make it happen, so I took the chance and I took the money. But what the plan was, was not what I was told” “That kind of changed how I looked at the league, my love for the game and so on. I really mean it. I was getting all this money, but it didn’t feel right. It didn’t feel the same. What I mean by that is I wanted to play. I wanted to be a part of the team. I wanted a chance, but I was told, ‘We’re going in a different direction. I’m not dressing up and whatnot’” “I always tell people there were a lot of conversations where one month into it, it was like, ‘We’re only gonna play the young guys.’ A month into it, it was like, ‘We need you to get in shape, practice and so on.’ I would get in shape and practice, and then it would be a sit down like, ‘Oh, actually, we decided we’re gonna play the young guys.’ It just kept going” “Two years in, the second year, I was like, ‘I never want to play here.’ I remember it was just like, ‘You’re gonna play. You’re not gonna play. You’re gonna play.’ My agent was trying, but you gave me so much money and now you’re not playing me. Why would anyone else take that contract. You got to let me play for people to see, but I was never allowed to play”

There’s something you need to understand. As children, we seek games to feel safe. To feel free. We play to explore, to express, to create a world where we belong. And as adults, we don’t stop playing… we just change the rules. We still search for games. We search for meaning. We search for ourselves. This is my game. This is my temple. This is my truth. When I step into the role of the Dominant, it is not fiction. It is a sacred space where I channel everything I’ve lived through…the pain, the silence, the power I had to build from nothing. I don’t wear this crown for show. I forged it from my own bloodline of wounds. And when I dominate, I don’t escape myself. I become more of who I truly am. It sharpens me. Grounds me. It reminds me of the order beneath the chaos…and my place in it. And for those who kneel… This isn’t about weakness. This isn’t about humiliation. This is your path to uncover the parts of yourself you were never allowed to feel. The shame. The need. The longing. The craving to be seen, to be guided, to be stripped down to your essence. You think you’re submitting to me. But you’re submitting to your own truth. And I simply hold the mirror. Domination is not abuse. It is a ritual of remembering. A return to polarity. A sacred dynamic that reveals who we are beneath the performance of control. So yes…this is a game. But it’s a divine one. It is the game of healing. The game of power and surrender. The game of coming home to yourself. And I am here… not just to lead you into it. But to lead you through it. As a Queen does. As a Goddess remembers.
