President Zelenskyy: Lifting sanctions will strengthen Russia’s position. "Russia spends the money it earns from energy exports on weapons, which are then used to attack us. We hear arguments that this is meant to stabilize the situation, but in my view the logic is entirely different. Russia uses this money to produce weapons and drones that strike Ukrainians on a massive scale. And as intelligence reports already show, these same drones are also being used against Iran’s neighbors in the Middle East, as well as against Europeans and Americans whose forces are present at bases there. So lifting sanctions only to end up facing even more drones later, in my view, is not the right decision."
