If a cataclysm is coming, there are certain things we need to know, like cleaning water and creating energy. Yer know wot a mean? Will X teach us about Nibiru? NCSWIC:) @TomatoBubble

You still have to boil it, or you’ll get cysts.

Water engineering person here. That is a pretty solid impromptu vertical inline vertical stratified media filter. This does a somewhat unscientific but most likely 90% method impounding and sequestering the input water's TSS (Total Suspendes Solids). The carbon filter is a critical part of this and one thing you would have when it comes to water quality it's not only the mechanical filtering of the water but there are natural background contents such as heavy metals and other ambient minerals that our present in nature. One concern I would immediately have is the fact that anytime you're near a stream that would have rounded cobblestone which is a small stone in that video, which would be a lead indicator of a significant amount of mechanical a a mountain stream or something next to a large body water such as the great lakes in the United States. The reason this is critical is is stones of the size generally in highly eroded locations such as mountains and coastlines. The reason this is concerning is that if you are near a mountain that means you are near some type heavy mine potentially. Heavy metals such as lead, arscenic, and mercury are bad in your water are bad. They are neurotoxic over time and cause damage this is what happened in Flint Michigan. Second you also have the Advent background of viruses and bacteria from animal feces. You must at all times disinfect water before consuming. You can use chlorine or ultraviolet radiation UVC. You can attempt to use reverse osmosis but good luck getting those filters right. That being said I almost just concerned about videos like this what that are while somewhat true they are, they are definitely not advice that should be spread among the public without understanding that there's a reason we go to college for up to 6 years and study this and have to design very complex water treatment plants, which I did a couple years ago and it took me a year to get it. Please stop spreading videos like this because you may actually cause someone to die.
