For me… I see kids that are excessively stressed, pushing themselves to the bare minimum just to survive the pressure.

I don't see Excel, I see sleeping, kids, and teenagers. The pinching theory is interesting, but the rest is too aggressive.

This is an East Asia thing. Japan and South Korea are at the same level. In South Korea, if kids don’t make it into one of the three SKY universities, the rest of their life is like already set. In Japan the life path must start with a good kindergarten to stay on the best route.

I remember medicine school. When I did slap myself in the face real hard on the bathroom to keep myself alert, came home and crashed, but mostly I slept in my clinic.
