This is how civilized countries build railway. Efficient. Organized. Highly Automated. Canada can too. 🇨🇦💪

They could, but considering the government has allocated $3.9 BILLION just to the co-development phase, I would say the $60-90 BILLION estimate of the project is grossly underestimated. The Liberal government and efficiency do NOT go hand in hand. If you need proof, look no further than Arrive Can.

99% of the Canadian population will never see this railway or use it , yet 100% of us will be forced to pay for it , if 2 provinces want it so bad let those 2 provinces pay for it .

DO you know Canada is broke and on the verge of collapse? you have to pay attention to know or you won't realize that the BANKER is playing numbers games. Canada is close to resetting just like Justin told you, you should watch these videos, the CPAC ones, so you know what is going on in Canada. the first one, that is just Justin TELLING YOU, he's going to collapse the country. WHY YOU CONTINUE VOTING LIBERAL confuses me, I used to, I stopped when they became terrible. Why do you vote and then not watch your employee, what's wrong with you? Why don't you wish to live in a democracy? The last one is how you overturn a democracy, because the NWO is communist, with China leading. You should read it so that you understand i am telling you the truth about what Justin said to you.

Our DEBT TO GDP, the real one, is terrifying and you think our resources that are in the ground are gonna help. They are not. Carney goes around the world selling us off and securing contracts for Brookfield. IF you think the liberals care about the wellbeing of Canada, you have not been paying attention.

Profilbild von Nathan Labbe
Nathan Labbevor 6 Monaten

@Rod10747719 Debt to GDP isn't wealth. We could literally drop a 5% sovereign debt tax.... Wipe our entire debt to $0, buy a HSR, arm the military, start a sovereign wealth fund. And barely anyone would notice. You have no clue what you're talking about. I DGAF about Lib or CPC.

All it takes is money. Which Canada doesn't have. Because Mark Carney won't approve new Pipelines and wants Canadian Energy to stay in the ground.

@scudog65 you obviously dont know what you're talking about. just because the resources are there locked up in the ground doesn't mean we have access to them currently why the fuck would we build a train for 3x it would cost japan?

Profilbild von Nathan Labbe
Nathan Labbevor 6 Monaten

@scudog65 It literally includes NO resources in the ground. It's largely financial assets, institutional, pension, etc. If you knew how to read a balance sheet (or read at all?), you'd know this.

Profilbild von Big John
Big Johnvor 6 Monaten

@scudog65 you are wrong, it 100% includes land and natural resources you're also acting like we have 19 trillion liquid, the country is in debt and its rising. the VIA rail hasn't been profitable in decades and you want to spend taxes on another railway?

Profilbild von Nathan Labbe
Nathan Labbevor 6 Monaten

@scudog65 Grok is dead wrong. Includes zero resources. I've literally run the numbers myself to over $10T. All cited. This excludes CIBC, Nat Bank, and all credit unions. (~$1.5T) Real estate makes up a large chunk of the rest. Again you have no idea what you're talking about.

The track laying is the least of our worries. It’s the project studies, the right of ways, the fact that a barrier will be erected through communities that will split them geographically and not offer any benefits. It’s the bridges, it’s the lakes and swamps and the grift.

Showing a rail machine is not the same as proving a rail project makes economic sense. Canada’s problem isn’t that we lack equipment. It’s that politicians skip the adult questions: who pays, what’s the real demand, what gets expropriated, what’s the final cost, and what taxpayers give up instead. A machine is not a business case.

Profilbild von Jake 🇨🇦
Jake 🇨🇦vor 6 Monaten

CN used a P-811 concrete tie replacement machine in the mid-80’s. It’s likely that one will be used for the HSR, because the scope justifies the cost.

Dude this is standart all over the world. Everbody build railroad like this. We are not living in 1980s anymore. That machine built in Austria. They are using same machine in Turkey, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Romania and apperantly Canada, too. Plasser & Theurer are producing many devices. This one is used for snow removal.

My Turkish friend you have no idea how far behind Canada is on railway.

Profilbild von GeoChat
GeoChatvor 6 Monaten

I can't say that Turkey is the best in the world at railway construction, but I am aware of the lack of interest in railways in North America. I think people prefer air travel because the distances are too far. One day, we were chatting with the general manager of Turkish State Railways on that time. There was a large crowd around. Someone said, "Sir, we could use convicted serious criminals to expand our railway lines." The general manager turned and said, "I suppose the last time you were involved in railway construction was in 1990. Most railways are now built by machines." 😀 Canada's problem about railroad is not about technological I suppose. Technology can be imported from Europe. It seems that real problem is because of lack of interest. Back in the days, some Americans saw railroads as communist plot. 😀

No they won't. It took them 15 years and 15 Billion dollars to make the Eglington line in TO It's still taking them 7 billion and almost 10 years to finish Phase 1 in Ottawa and the line is always down. They haven't laid any track yet for Phase 2 -_-. So yes, please make another line. It will only cost about a 1 Trillion. It cost them over 7 Billion dollars to make 23 miles of track.
