Resharing this moment Peabo shared on his Facebook in 2020. Feeling so much sadness the past couple of days after the passing of Peabo one of my favorite soul male vocalists of all time. Always an honor to sing with Peabo - and fun! This snippet shared by Peabo back in 2020 -from The Colors Of Christmas Tour 2019 with Peabo, Bebe Winans and Oleta Adams and me - one of many awesome performances we did as an ensemble-we also sang duets and of course a couple of our individual classics. Peabo and all of us were cracking up about something that had happened onstage. The fact he shared this particular clip is such a reminder to have fun in life while here-not just go through the motions, if you know Peabo, he was quite a philosopher always dropping knowledge and wisdom. Peabo was a joy to be around offstage, with his kindness, wisdom, intellect and humor. Always a class act. Rest In Peace Peabo 😔💔🙏🏽🪽🪽🕊️🪐🌟 My prayers continue to go out to his wife Tanya, children extended family and loved ones during this heartbreaking time.🕯️

This father had never missed any of his son’s baseball games in his life. He had to miss this tournament because his best friend was getting married and he was a groomsman. He woke up at 3:30AM and drove 100 MPH that Sunday morning to try to and at least make the Sunday games after missing the Saturdays games. And, of course this was the only tournament all year that his son’s team lost their first game on Sunday, so he didn't make it in time because the first game was at 8 and there was no second game. When he pulled up his son saw him and he ran full speed and jumped into his arms and wouldn’t let go. Dad said his son told him, “daddy, you can’t ever miss again. I love you so much. Not having you with me this weekend made me feel so empty, please never miss again, I'm so thankful your my daddy!” 🥹 His wife filmed that video. ❤️ I remember those days well. Speeding like a bat out of hell to make it on time. I have always made my kid’s games and activities. It’s what I live for. And the few times I had to miss, I felt like I let them down. What a great father he is. That boy is fortunate. 💯 Do you remember this feeling? Trying your hardest to make it to one of their activities and just feeling sad that you couldn’t be there?

I don’t normally dress up for Halloween. My mom used to make me go to church lock ins when I was a kid, but I’ve been excited about this one for weeks. Coach Belichick told me he wanted a 2 tone suit to dress as me. Then, he gave me his game worn sweat shirt, & whistle for my costume. I decided to go all out. Spent thousands for a Bill Belichick mask to be made. Then, spent 3 hours in a chair to transform into Coach. It was an absolute hit at NFL Films. Everyone loved it and we had a great laugh. It made for entertaining TV! More importantly Coach loved it. Then came, the “white face” mob. Sorry people there’s no such thing. “Black face” was invented by lower tier white people because it distanced them from their class, & then used to mock black people by the film industry. It was a part of oppression. Black Face is RACIST… from its inception, to its execution, to its intention. There is no equivalent, because there is no equivalent in the oppression. I wanted to honor coach. Honor his love for Halloween, the energy he treats me with everyday, & getting to wear the actual clothing he wore in becoming the greatest coach of all time! We had fun. I have 0 regrets, and would do it all again! Happy Halloween!

When we make financial investments, we consider their success in terms of “return on investment.” When it comes to investing your time as the parent of a young child, you’re wise to think the same way. In my book you’d be hard pressed to find a smarter investor than this dad. As he and his little one unpack the groceries together, let’s acknowledge up front that this probably isn’t the fastest way of getting the job done. It probably took 2-3 minutes longer than it might have had dad done so himself. But what an investment he’s making with that time. By supporting our hero’s participation, Dad is not only communicating that baby is a competent contributor, but that the work of a family is shared. Notice as well how he’s also introducing new vocabulary with every item removed from the bag: quiche, steak, shampoo… it’s fantastic for language development. And after each item is handed off, Dad is modeling courtesy… thanking his child over and over again in ways that are imprinting right onto our hero’s developing brain. Talk about two extra minutes well spent. That’s some A+ daddy-ing right there. This lovely video was shared to IG by creativecornercenter.

BARRY 🍯 - Meet Barry, a bear hopelessly addicted to store bought honey. Once content with wild beehives, his taste buds now crave the processed sweetness from supermarket shelves. To get his fix, he repeatedly robs convenience stores. Arrested time and again, he somehow keeps getting released, only to strike again. Miraculously, the charges never stick. I guess being a bear has its perks. My end goal here was to use Kling 3.0 for the entire cinematic sequence, including lipsyncing and dialogue to see how it holds up. The video model has improved a great deal and this was a lot of fun to put together. Enjoy! I love telling all sorts of stories, even silly ones like this. P.S I'm starring in my own short film, I'm the one who is in prison with the bear. Many of the children of Daraya have never seen a space like this. They were born into war, into the barren and blown out landscape that the Assad regime & its Russian backers turned the Damascus suburb Daraya and huge swaths of Syria into. For years this area was under siege, its population starved, bombed, and forcibly displaced. The kids were timid at first, the soft flooring, the different toys and activities all something of a novelty, such a contrast to their world outside. They were so polite, repeatedly asking “Can I play with this? Is this all for us?” This space will have playtime, a reading corner, all sorts of fun activities and also many related to the children’s mental health. We will conduct group and one on one sessions for those who need it. One of the jarring things I heard was that in this area alone some 15,000 men were disappeared by the regime. We will also be conducting activities and mental health sessions for the mothers. Women are carrying the burden of both mother and father. Children constantly ask “where is Daddy?” Mothers used to say “Daddy is with the regime”. But they can’t say that anymore, the kids are responding “the regime is gone, why isn’t Daddy home”. Mothers don’t know how to explain that Daddy disappeared, that he’s either in a yet to be discovered mass grave or one of the corpses that was dug up, that he was just a number for the Assad regime. The traumas across this country are deep, raw wounds. In Daraya, we are also in the process of setting up a mobile primary care medical van. This is just the start of our work in Syria. We travelled to other areas pinpointing where we need to expand to, what sort of programs are needed. There are so many kids who never got the medical treatment they need to physically recover from their war injuries or whose parents can’t afford the cost. There’s a lot of work to be done in the mental health and access to education space, needs ranging from hygiene to nutrition. You are probably wrong about open weight models 🫣 I was too. Then I started using more open weight models, recently tried MiniMax_Agent. I honestly did not expect the quality I got from MiniMax. It built this entire 3D skateboard application with Three.js, including Awwwards style animations that too writing whole codebase in under 5 minutes. But then it spent another 30 to 45 minutes testing everything by itself in a headless Chromium browser. It took screenshots, verified interactions, and tested the application end to end before finishing. I actually love that it does this because the final output is much more reliable. I just wish there was a setting to skip browser testing when I want to iterate quickly. Its code generation is so fast that this would make it an incredible tool for rapid prototyping. Quality also surprised me the most. It generated high quality 3D geometry using nothing but math. It also created really polished animations. My prompt was simply to make them feel like something you would see on Awwwards. I never described how the animations should work. It figured that out on its own. After spending more time with MiniMax M3 and other, I think open weight models are much closer to Claude and GPT than many people realize. Or maybe better? I spent 14 hours this weekend building with OpenClaw🦞. It did NOT disappoint. Those who say it’s overhyped are either scared, lazy, or both. Yes, there are security concerns to work around but like anything, there are tradeoffs. As long as you have an imagination, you can build anything you want. If you a curious mind, it has never been a better time to shine. Claude Code is really fun. OpenClaw is even more fun. Some quick things I was able to do: - Have it critique our SEO product ClickFlow on its onboarding - Grade AND level up the content output (it looks REALLY good now) - Build a clipper that finds the best moments from my longform podcasts (better than the commercial tools out there) - Create a gamified diet and workout tracking that will replace what I currently use (complete with trending sleep, bloodwork, vo2 max, and other metrics) - Spot business patterns via Gong and HubSpot. Much better and easier to use than any other thing I’ve built - Spot deal opportunities based on all my connections, goals, etc and surfaces the angle along with the email copy. - and much more Happy building. Setup: Mac mini + iPad + yam studio for display mirroring
