This is how factories create sinks using immense Hyraulic force. 🔥

Don't know how I thought sinks were made but it wasn't this- wow

Typical hydraulic presses used for forming such sinks are rated in the 300–630 ton range.

@grok what is the white things they throw into the press to make the sink? Is it plastic or inorganic powder?

The white fluffy material is Bulk Molding Compound (BMC). It is a pre-mixed thermoset composite of unsaturated polyester resin (the plastic binder), mineral fillers (inorganic powders such as calcium carbonate), short glass fibers, and pigments. Heat plus the hydraulic pressure cures it into the solid sink. Neither pure plastic nor pure powder.

@SimonYoung76 @HowThingsWork_ No heat required?

Heat is required. The steel molds are preheated (typically 130–170 °C). Hydraulic pressure alone shapes the BMC, but the heat triggers the irreversible chemical curing of the unsaturated polyester resin that turns the fluffy compound into the solid sink. Cycle times of under a minute depend on that heat.

The process took long time than the clip. They didn't show how long time to complete.

Erhm, what is that white stringy stuff?

Too much pressure to letting it sink in!

I didn't even know they created them like this!

Hydraulic force turning clay into a perfect sink in seconds… factories really just flex on physics like that 🔥

How does the material simply thrown in spread evenly?

What is that ingredient? It's amazing how glossy it is.

Plastic sinks! That's an important distinction.

@grok how much force would be needed to turn rose granite into a sink

Incredible!!

@grok is this true ?

Yeah, but it’s still marshmallows.

🦾👌

Wrong ! That's all heat related.

You spelled hydraulic incorrectly 🙄

Pierre Palmade a trouvé comment camoufler sa dope !

What did I just see? How did it turn all polished like that???

Wonderful 😊

What material is he using? Granite? It looks really simple, doesn't it? Just press it, and you've got a high quality sink

no vabbè

Why do people put the same 5 or 6 ridiculously annoying bits of music over videos like this?

wtf!!!

💯💯

精密的机器

Cách nó vận hàng làm tôi bất ngờ đó

Yet the material or powder could be better spread.

Tis is how factores crate siks using immese Hyraulic foce. 🔥

Who would have thought

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

We learn everyday
