What about using only salt in a water solution and spraying it as an alternative; when you don't have all those afford mentioned in the video. Will it work too?

Despite the thr£ats, the farmers have made it clear they will not yield to the band!ts’ demands. “We are farmers,” they declared, “and we will not agree to stay away from our farms.” The local farming community in zamfara state is determined to prot£ct their livelihood and continue agricultural activities even in the face of insecurity.
