I hope they never focus around one faction for a season again, it definitely didn't help that I've exhausted by the constant Chinese regions in gacha games.

Season 2 is so over hated

Looking at these comments I can tell y'all just play too many gacha games. "I'm tired of the Chinese aesthetic in all of these gacha games" you all say as you play games made by Chinese people. Play other games if you're tired of the aesthetic stop complaining over nothing.

All that was good this season was Spook Shack, Krampus and the additions to the Obol Squad. That's it! The region itself, not the Hollows exploring, just sucks. Like most events. Like, I can only appreciate Yidhari's dreams and a Fantasy resort.

i mean "we get it, it's the fucking china region. all praise winnie pooh and that shit", but for god's sake they're always dense with it. genshin had the same fucking problem with liyue (at least we had the teapots to not rot in boredom.)

Season 2 was fully based off Yunkui summit and that's probably what made it annoying for me bc I love Yunkui summit don't get me wrong but compare it to season 1 how that went and you'll see exactly what my dumbass is trying to say frfr

All I'm gonna say is that I prefered when ZZZ was about high tech city life with a secret identity rather than mastering mystic arts under a wing of shaolin master while fighting a cult.

I feel like there was a lot of wasted potential with the Yunkui people, like A-Yuan was pretty much a plot device and accessory to XiaoGuang despite one of the first people introduced And after her chapter, Yixuan became an "instant win" button when the writing faced a roadblock

they really just left their whimsy and originality and went all hoyoee and I just can not be interested at all in it.

Ngl this arc of the game did kinda ruin it for me, just like the Xianzhou arc(s) in HSR. I miss the quirky fun multiculture of ZZZ. If i wanted chinese themed everything i would try out wuthering waves or something.

Even when they're gone, the damage done to the protagonist's design integrity and these random spiritual abilities will remain. I'm hopeful for season 3. The lore tease is conceptually cool.

I kinda disagree, although S2 is based in failume heights it has been somewhat diverse. I do want to go back to 6th street I’d like to see them expand the city areas like where does the cunning hares hang out, we saw Billy’s car once. I haven’t seen one WacDonalds. Where’s VHK?

Could be both but from what I've seen it's not yunkui summit that's the problem. But being stuck in Failume specifically with not many new areas. I have no problem with this season outside of YSG (which I like gameplay only mostly), rest is technical issues. Lots of frame dips

I've been saying this so much dude, it's gotten to the point I feel real hatred for that entire region and squad. The first season had way more diversity and conflict, the scene where the cunning hares and Section 6 meeting was the peak for me fr.
