This is how Indian cities would look if they were maintained by private builders instead of Babus. DLF maintains CyberCity. GMR maintains AeroCity. What's your Opinion?

But keeping everything private would also have issues. Charges would be skyrocketed since every private options wants to make money no matter what normal crowd wants. We need something like hybrid model for our development.

Yeah only if the common man starts expecting the same from the leaders & people in charge instead of being distracted easily by caste based politics.

Gurugram is a case study on how not to manage a city! Try to look beyond flashy drone footages of Cyber city, then you'll realise it. 70% of the city is not linked to sewage. Solid waste management is pathetic. Water and electricity shortages are common. No coherent master plan.

It should be mix of both private and government entities. And people also need to have civic sense for the amenities.

Lateral entry is the answer. Let these babus work in private firms for at least 5 years before they go for upsc.

"While privately maintained spaces like CyberCity and AeroCity are well-organized and efficient, not everything private is perfect. Access, affordability, and inclusivity can become issues when profit drives management. Balance is key! #UrbanDevelopment #PrivateVsPublic #SmartCities #InclusiveGrowth"
