My parents were Boomers and they didn’t complain. 🤷‍♀️ In fact my Dad agreed with me that Prince’s halftime show was one of the best.

The point was a general one. Generations have complained about previous generations taste in music going back to the prevalence of “Jazz” in the Roaring Twenties. The same happened with Rock-n-Roll, Hip Hop, Metal, and particularly acts like Elvis and The Beatles.

Do you remember the Bruno Mars half time show? Oh my gosh,, it was soooo good.

That was a great halftime show. Loved it. Love Prince. But have you ever watched/listened to Bad Bunny? He puts on a fantastic show himself, in his own way w/his genre of music. Expand your music library; it’s okay to do so

He doesn’t perform in English and he platforms the demonic. That’s causes me some apprehension. That being said, I hope he can perform to a wide range of Americans and not to just a subset.

This isn’t his latest album, this is the one prior. These are Prince #s he’s pushing. His latest album, the 1 that came out this year, is already north of 7 BILLION streams. The fact that he doesn’t have songs in english doesn’t matter. There is no one on earth bigger than him

Well, it may surprise you… but I grew up in a southern, Republican household and we loved Prince’s halftime show. Because he actually sang, wrote his own music, and knew how to entertain everyone. Not everything is political. Sometimes it’s just about the music and the talent which can bridge political divides. 🤷‍♀️

Even a group of marching bands that do shows would be so enjoyable to watch

Prince had a marching band in his show, I believe it was Florida A&M that were in it.

Nothing beats a marching band. I think they are just great to watch & the music can be a variety

A few years before this, I was there when Diana Ross was dropped into the stadium via a swing from a helicopter. It was awesome!

He was incredible. He played 4 different live electric guitars in the pouring rain for that show.

He did. My favorite of him is this one though. The way he impressed all the great musicians on the stage was epic.

Very nice unlike todays halftime shows . I was at the one with Paul McCartney when he came here back in 2005 not in the stands though. Cold and rainy all week then the superbowl came it was perfect weather
