Not really. My Dad is a Boomer and appreciates that Prince wrote his own music and played his own instrument along with vocals.

FUCK YES. Ya know I grew up about 2 miles from Princes studio? My Aunt actually owned a bakery in Excelsior, Minnesota and Prince would come in there quite often. We would also trick-or-treat at his studio and he was just always such a nice nice person. What an amazing man.

Prince is an insanely underrated guitarist. Though the sound engineers didn’t do him any favors with that tone.

I kinda feel bad for young people. Their idols really have no talent. Not like Prince… or Michael Jackson or Whitney. Or even someone like Madonna, who can barely sing. Their generation just doesn’t have greatness. 80s kids had it all, and didn’t even realize it.
