This is how oranges are harvested in Spain

Mission failed successfully

They're not for eating, just decorative. They're very sour and barely edible. So this machine shakes them down in order not to damage the tree, because they're heavy

the tree :

Yep, in the city but not on a spanish orange orchard. This is a orchard in Valencia, Spain.

Those are form the orange trees on the street - they're not edible since they're sour. I don't know if they use it for something, but definitely not to be eaten. The orange trees for harvesting are on the countryside and treated differently. These are just ornamental.

I think this is for orange trees that carry inedible fruit, not a way to harvest oranges for consumption.

Those aren’t edible fruit.

I need to report a shake down (๏ᆺ๏υ)

Don’t know if this is how they are harvested. Seems more like a way to prevent them from falling of the trees and rotting in the streets attracting vermin in urban areas…
