What a stunning breath of fresh air to hear such raw intelligence. Masculinity isn't toxic. Only those who are abusive are toxic. Also, women instinctually desire masculine men.

You're so right about masculinity not being a bad thing. It's not even "good or bad", it's just biology and creates balance with femininity. Anything can be toxic when mixed with negative emotions and/or actions.

It may be overly reductive to say that most of modern society’s ills trace back to birth control but not by much. Birth control causes the feminization of society, disregard for consequences and a general increase in selfishness. Historically, very few people engaged in sex for the specific purpose of having children. But that outcome forced them to become better people for the sake of their offspring. And it fulfilled their core programming, which led to happiness. Most of the younger generation’s malaise stems from their childlessness and the fact decades of falling real incomes have made it impossible for the median westerner to support a family. The Catholic Church has been saying this all along when most (all?) the others decided to go with the flow.

Birth control puts me in the hospital because it rapidly depletes nutrients out of the body. If it can do that to me, what else is it doing to women?

Mastered. I love how you interviewed Rogan, on his own show. You’re a stud.

When dating, it’s tough to ask the pill question too early on, but critical to know. Knowing this has also helped me to realize that expressing myself in only one way is not really the best strategy, if avoidable in your personality.

Interesting, never thought of the pill that way, of course I'm a dude but still. May explain why women have irregular periods for years after getting off it. Happily married for 20yrs though, great podcast.

Would this be a biological basis of the current expression of the 'Devouring Mother' archetype?
