This is how rice fed millions

This cannot be possible. Processed rice after separation from husk is not capable of germination

The average rice stalk can produce 300-500 grains of rice. Some really big healthy ones over 1000.. pretty solid return eh :) 1000 to 1. We all want that in the stock market.. but much easier to achieve in the stalk market :)

Fake, AI generated misinformation, false knowledge. Only paddy rice can germinate. Polished rice cannot sprout because its outer germ layer has been removed.

Rice doesn't actually "feed" people, as it is unable to utilize feeding utensils. After the rice is harvested, however, a human can then consume the rice which gives the human nutrients needed to sustain life. Furthermore, you do not get fed by watching a plant grow.

If Rice became illegal, 90% of the people in my country would be in jail the next morning.

Sooo... 1 piece of rice turns into... 1 piece of rice, with a bunch of green shit?

Rice; I’m using this medium to appreciate all you have done for me..if not for you..I would have fainted 7 times a week

What’s with the ants day 9?

breaking news: local man discovers that plant seed make new plant

Rice may look simple, but it's one of humanity's most important foods. 👏

Dehusked rice won't germinate.

Dehusked rice never germinates. Common sense

It's amazing to see how thing works.

White rice cannot grow its dead... completely inaccurate.

Grains are shite for the body it has to work really hard to gain anything from them...

i’ve been eating boiled seeds my entire life

It's amazing to see how thing works.

Rice being the MVP of keeping starving college students fed.

Hmm 🤔

Oh wow, amazing!!

Guess i will get a big bow and start planting them.

Scientists take ONE rice cell/grain, sterilize it, put it on nutrient agar, and it grows into a callus (that brown mass). That callus can then regenerate into hundreds of plantlets. That's called tissue culture micropropagation.

😭

Growth process well captured here

너무 신기하네요

The commitment of this one little seed carrying the weight of global agriculture on its back 😭
