Except that Ruffalo was the one portraying hulk…. He should’ve just bashed the U.S.A. and capitalism hoping to give the planet over to Thanos. At least that would’ve portrayed the actor better

He’s supposed to get stronger the angrier he gets. And Thanos was always a character that felt a hint of fear when knowing the HULK would be around to fight him

I'm kinda torn on this, I remember something about thanos could easily beat hulk, but he does not want to fight him because hulk just keeps getting back up. Yet it seems like the part where hulk gets stronger the more angry he is seems to be completely gone from the lore...

No it shouldn’t have. First of all The Hulk lost to Thanos in the comic the movie is based on, secondly Hulk has a negative win loss record against Thanos in the comics, third it would have made Thanos look terrible if he lost his first onscreen fight after years of buildup.

people don't know thanos was on par with the hulk in the comics. hes supposed to be the big threat of the mcu. meaning hes on par with the heros. would be a boring movie if the big threat just ended right there and then.
