This is how the show introduces Dante getting his Demon Form ("Devil Trigger") and it's very jarring because 1. In order to awaken it Dante literally had to be impaled by his own sword to activate it. 2. The characters don't even call it Devil Trigger in the game.

The writing is fucking atrocious even without the adaptation issues. This design is ass. Lady’s change is buns so far

Does the Devil Trigger only affect one arm the whole show? Because it's getting increasingly apparent that this is supposed to be a Nero show.

No voice distortion? Well that's kinda lame.

Are we not gonna talk about how his arm is like Nero's Devil Bringer, just orange instead of blue-

That's what Agni and Rudra sound like? Like, I was already off-board from them having heads, but they sound like normal dudes trying to sound tough.

What's even more jarring is people said "yes" to this script.

Devil trigger comes from accepting his demonic heritage Having to be stabbed by Vergil wasn't what "trigger it" Also yeah they never call it devil trigger, they only refer to it as Dante true form (not to mention he can transform at will and for however long he wants)

I want to know why they have heads on their bodies

I mean Dante did get his first devil trigger in DMC3 after he was stabbed by Vergil using Rebellion

I just said that
