We need to go back to paying Reps per diem and no pension w/term limits - that's how it used to be.

Either neither has term limits or both do; Congress, President... I vote neither; voters to decide at all times. Limit stock trading, limit pay check (never vote themselves raises), same benes as any other citizen, gov should never be a career; un-American.

@SandraXFreedom Make them live in the society they created and in their district full time. Then watch things change. Also make them understand, YOU WORK FOR ME! Finally, they have to get the same healthcare as the rest of us.

And they utilize the same healthcare plans that their constituents do and they do not get full retirement for the rest of their lives after one stint in Congress

@TruthJasonLee Absolutely brilliant and critical. Congress has failed which is why the judicial and executive have encroached and fourth branch of government was formed. The only thing I would add is no lobbiest funds.

He's got some good ideas but I think the one he's wrong on is meeting by iPads. They slid by on this during the Plandemic but I think they are supposed to be physically in the Chamber during days they are in session. Now, make them WORK ALL WEEK FOR 52 weeks with ONE day off for each holiday and we could be on to something.

There are so many smart people in America. It will get figured out. I hope this will happen or something close to it

term limits sound nice, but it ultimately fails to change the root problem that people vote on who is more charismatic or influential rather than who is actually more effective at the job. As such you'll always have slimeballs who manage to get power

This shouldn't be a law but an amendment. Bc congress could say no to this law. But can say no to the constitution

The only drawback in checking in via computer is AI manipulation and possible hidden coercion for votes. Of course, that occurs now.

@ArmandKleinX I agree with all but 1. The one is by zoom. That's is too much of a chance at fraud. I would have them fly to DC at their own expense and clock in and get paid by hour. If they don't vote they don't get paid.
