This is how they extract the explosive (TNT) from an anti-tank mine. It is melted down in a slow cooker and used in projectiles for dropping from a UAV or a drone such as the Mavic. It’s a whole science in itself, but one that can be learnt quickly.

The destruction of an Israeli Merkava Mk.4 tank: thoughts out loud... In the video, we see Hezbollah destroying an Israeli Merkava Mk.4 tank using an FPV drone. What's striking is that the operator is clearly inexperienced. Instead of flying in and hitting the tank in a vulnerable spot, he simply dives down on it from above and ends up hitting the "grill". And the Lebanese were just lucky that the tank started detonating its ammunition. But no worries, they'll get better at it eventually. We also note that the attack was carried out by a reconnaissance drone. So Hezbollah has things well organized in this regard. But it seems the Israelis are having major problems. And they're just getting started. If they can't solve them quickly, they'll soon be fleeing from the captured territory. Subscribe

The logic, therefore, is that our large platforms—while still retaining their traditional role—must operate in an environment where they are not exposed to attacks launched from the shore. A very small naval drone worth €50,000 or €100,000 could destroy a frigate worth €1 billion. And it would not be just one drone—it could be a swarm of 10, 20, 100, or even 500 drones, and it would still cost far less than the target itself.
