shelled out a million quid on each Spice Girl for that ad. Each. Today, they still pay their employees on the shop floor minimum wage. Any employer paying minimum wage is really them admitting they'd pay people less if they could get away with it of course. I'd prefer to see an Xmas add with real employees stacking shelves and going home to a cold house with beans on toast for Xmas dinner. That's the reality @Tesco is selling.
