I don’t know what the mcu thought they could do without any real hero lineup. On top of getting rid of one of their most underrated and under utilized characters in all of the mcu

Comic version was such a wasted opportunity. Replacing Pym and Spider-Woman with Skrulls doesn’t have nearly the same impact as replacing Captain America. And for the takeover to feel like a real threat, we need to see these aliens actually meaningfully take over.
