The Perfect Lateral Raise — Do This for Bigger Shoulders...

Its too heavy for him his upper traps trying to take over

If you are doing them correctly, most people should be using 10-20lbs. In the video he is still letting the dumbells go down very fast, it should be controlled for "perfect form". Most people doing lateral raises with 45-50s are just swinging them, ego lifting and doing what actually is just a mediocre traps workout.

Just do overhead presses like an adult

Lol people be so obsessed with going heavy not know moderate weight and proper form is where it really is🔥🔥🔥

Bro is indoors. What’s the hat for?

People in the comments think they're smarter than one of the most successful coaches in the industry lol

Also, it's the best way to have rotator cuff surgery in the future. Keep it below elbow level with moderate weights. Having muscles is great for health and longevity, but is it worth undergoing orthopedic surgery with no chance of a 100% comeback?

Hilarious how many people in the comments are questioning the trainer. Whilst this trainer is literally the most accomplished Mr Olympia trainer in history with 25 MR 0’s under his knowledge.

Lateral raises target your shoulder’s lateral deltoids, helping broaden your shoulders, improve posture, and stabilize your arms. Unlike heavy compound lifts, they isolate the muscle, making them key for sculpted and strong shoulders.

Light up on the weight so he can find his form first

Needs to lean forward a bit

I have fucked up my shoulders too many times doing lateral raises with shitty form so I'm saving this lol

Love Jesse James West. Literally one of the only true drug free bodybuilders in the influencing space

This why you don’t need to over load with these. The form will keep you from going too heavy

nah, have to pour the glass out at the top.

Great lesson there ✅

It’s not

World famous trainer right there.. also owns a large fitness brand/platform

Agree no swinging or bringing the weight up too high

What’s he teaching him for? Dude is jacked already. He knows what he’s doing

Feels like it’s time for getting the boulder shoulders in 2026

Hany Rambod is the only person i listen to when it comes to advice on bodybuilding , he 's truly the GOAT of coaching 💪

Especially elbows higher than wrists…good luck with ruining your shoulders

Lean forward slightly and you can keep your thumbs above parallel with the floor to protect your shoulders. Won’t engage your delts still if you lean forward.

He's such a good girl

@BahjatEl

This will never get old

Might like to drop the wait a bit until he’s got good posture

Actually side lats are harder if your range of motion stops with the dumbbells on the outside of your legs. Getting them going from that position prevents you from cheating

No matter how I try these they kill my shoulders, even raising my arms with no weights like this. The worst of the lowering portion, feels like someone has a knife in front of my shoulder. Anyone know why? Impingement I’ve heard?

Hani is by far the best coach you can have

Typical of body builders. He lost form and the coach made him do about 4 more. This is how injuries happen kids.
