Was cancelled way to soon - such a great mixture of actors who were musicians and musicians who were actors. Loved it

Like The Wire, the opening scenes of Treme were so false and hackneyed I couldn’t watch the rest. Whenever I think of giving both series a try again, I see the predictably cliched nail gun scene from The Wire on social media and am reminded to stay away.

Eminently rewatchable. Always wish they'd have been allowed to finish a full 5 seasons.

I have seen only parts of it. This makes me want to go back and watch the whole thing. I think the series is a bit underrated because people compare it with David Simon’s masterpiece, “The Wire.”

If Simon and Overmeyer on the label, I'm buying. I gave my kiddo my recommendation for The White Lotus which brings us Steve Zahn from Treme, and Murray Bartlett, from The Last of Us - both of them Hall of Famers in my book. Treme needs a (3rd) rewatch.
