ohhh my... Claude Code for Video Animations is insane. In 1 prompt you can create animated videos with Claude Code... w/ the new Remotion skill. And you can do this in the browser because uses Claude Code as the default agent. (Full prompt below 👇)

Claude Code can now make full videos from your terminal.. Not slideshows. Not text on screen.. Actual motion graphics with animations, transitions, custom photos, and background music. [ SHARED A TUTORIAL BELOW EDITED WITH THIS SETUP IN JUST 5mins ] ▫️Here's the setup: Claude Code + Remotion Remotion is a React based framework that renders video programmatically. You describe what you want in plain English, Claude writes the React components and Remotion renders it into a real MP4. What you can actually do with this: > Generate 9:16 vertical videos for TikTok / Reels / Shorts > Add animated text with viral hooks and safe zones > Pull live web screenshots directly into your scenes using Chrome MCP > Fact-check your content in real time with Perplexity MCP > Drop in your own photos and background music > Edit existing talking-head footage cut bloopers, add captions > Schedule posts to your socials straight from the terminal ▫️How to set it up (takes 5 minutes) : > Make sure you have Node.js installed ( node -v to check ) > Create a new Remotion project: npx create-video@latest Pick the Blank template, enable TailwindCSS, and install the Skills package when prompted. > Install dependencies: cd my-video npm install > Start the preview server: npm run dev > Open Claude Code in the same project folder: cd my-video claude That's it. You can now prompt videos in plain English. If you already have a Remotion project, just add the skill directly: npx skills add remotion-dev/skills This drops a SKILL.md into your project that gives Claude expert knowledge of Remotion.. animations, compositions, captions, assets, 3D content everything. Example prompt you can steal: "Create a 30-second 9:16 vertical video about the top 3 AI tools this week. Use animated text with a hook in the first 2 seconds. Add smooth transitions between scenes. Keep text in the safe zone for TikTok. Use a dark tech aesthetic with blue accent colors." Claude writes all the React code, renders a preview, you tweak with natural language, and export when ready. The crazy part is this whole pipeline is local, free (minus your Claude sub), and you never open a video editor. imo this kills CapCut for anyone making info-style content. You describe the video in English and get back a rendered MP4. try it now.

Claude Code for Video Animations? Building an app with an agent that can create and edit animated videos... In 4 prompts. This was my first test of remotion, i'm going to see how good i can get the Claude Agent SDK at making animated videos.

This video by Remotion is literally motion design porn. no skills , mcp , tools , video gen , special prompts one shot fully in code or natural language , this is genuinely crazy

CLAUDE CODE IS NOW MY VIDEO EDITOR 📽️ I LOVE WHAT IT CAN DO WITH THIS REMOTION SKILL I asked it to make me a showcase for my project: SFX/Music/Images (besides the characters) was genned & stitched by Claude using other skills! besides my feedback, this was FULLY autonomous

Claude Opus 5 just made the best Remotion video I have ever seen. Perfect transitions. Music timing locked to the frame. Branding nailed without me asking. Fable 5 held this crown for months. Opus 5 took it in one prompt. Opus 5 significantly outperforms Fable 5 at marketing videos, and it is not close. Watch this and remember Opus 5 made it.

last week I talked about claude code being my video editor, but it was only a small 30 second clip - here is my FULL workflow on how i have claude code edit ~30 minutes of raw video into a tight 10 minutes it uses STT for captions, then uses remotion to add the captions & cut!

Boris Cherny recorded this internally for his team. It was never meant to go public. He built Claude Code and shows how to go from idea to production-ready product in just 30 minutes. No script. No cuts. He just talks and types. This is the most practical video on Claude Code I’ve seen. Watch the video, then read about loops below.

Claude Code made this entire video. The voice, footage, script is all AI. Everything was made with a content system I built in Claude Code. In this video, I'll be taking you behind the curtain. This machine will be responsible for my entire content workflow this week. Full video is in the comments below.

Cat Wu, head of product for Claude Code at Anthropic: "you can build almost anything with Claude from a single prompt now" one prompt gets you a working screen, not YOUR product Claude Code has never seen your design system, so it guesses the look fresh every time. how to hand Claude Code that system is in the article. better than the $300 design course in your tabs, and this one's free.
