Treated worse than murderers in NYC

As a former cop, this officer way overreacted. Granted the player should have explained himself better and not taken off. But if he did indeed think this was simply routine security, I get it. The cop made a situation worse by not being reasonable and using the "just following orders sir" mentality.

What if Scottie was an illegal alien or BLM activist, would he have been waived through?

I hope Scheffler sues the shit out of the Louisville police department. This is a complete overreaction by the officer.

OK, so this is very simple. It was a misunderstanding, but when a police officer tells you to stop your vehicle, you stop your vehicle. This isn’t hard.

An overzealous Barney Fife overreacted and arrests one of the best individuals on the PGA Tour. What a bad look for Louisville! If I’m the PGA Tour never coming back. All charges should be dropped.

Scottie is going to put on a master class of how to handle an unfortunate situation. He won’t be outraged and blaming and being a victim. He will apologize for a misunderstanding and show humility no doubt.
