That’s not “living large.” It’s survival when wages haven’t kept up with rent, food, and medical costs for decades. The same political voices that scream loudest about “welfare fraud” (which is under 1% for SNAP, by the way) are often the quietest when trillion-dollar corporations pay an effective federal tax rate of 8–12% or offshore profits. The fight over crumbs at the bottom distracts from the feast at the top.
